The opportunity

Make a scroll feel like film.

We want websites that move like a well-cut film and load like a plain page. You’ll turn our designers’ storyboards into scroll-driven stories: pinned scenes, timelines that follow the reader, 3D that earns its frames. Then you’ll make them hold at 60 frames a second on a mid-range phone, with native scrolling, accessible content and nothing in the scroll path the browser could do for free.

  • Next.js
  • Astro
  • Vue
  • GSAP
  • Three.js

01 / The mandate

What you’ll own.

  • Build websites, case studies and product interfaces in Next.js, Astro and Vue, from the first prototype to production.
  • Choreograph scroll-driven storytelling with GSAP and ScrollTrigger, CSS scroll and view timelines and IntersectionObserver: pinned scenes, reveals and transitions with intent.
  • Bring 3D and film into the page with Three.js or WebGL and well-encoded loops, drawn only while visible and only while they change.
  • Hold a performance budget: Core Web Vitals, 60 fps on real phones, no layout reads in scroll paths, responsive image and video ladders, measured before and after every change.
  • Work beside designers, 3D artists and engineers from storyboard to launch, with reduced motion, keyboard and screen reader access designed in from the start.

02 / The standard

What you bring.

  • 5+ years of frontend engineering, with shipped scroll-driven or motion-led sites you can show and explain.
  • Expert TypeScript, modern CSS and component architecture in Next.js (App Router), Astro and Vue 3.
  • Deep animation craft: GSAP and ScrollTrigger, CSS scroll-driven animations, easing and timing, and the judgement to know when a page needs none of it.
  • A performance practice built on profiling: Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse and real-device testing, compositor-friendly animation and lazy, responsive media.
  • Accessibility as part of the craft: semantic HTML, reduced-motion alternatives, focus order and content that reads without JavaScript.

03 / The extra edge

Even better.

  • Three.js, React Three Fiber or custom shaders, and WebGL profiling on weak GPUs.
  • Headless CMS integrations, smooth-scroll libraries and their trade-offs, or award-recognised work.

04 / The studio

Close to the work.

Athens-based, with a hybrid rhythm. You’ll work directly with designers, engineers and specialists, with access to the people making the decisions.

Bring judgement, curiosity and a high standard for your own work. We’ll bring ambitious briefs, a multidisciplinary studio and room for your contribution to matter.
