Senior Software Engineer

Design and build the backend behind our platforms: event-driven, resilient services that banks, clinics and global operators can depend on.

The opportunity

Build what the interface stands on.

Our platforms move payments, clinical reports and fleets, and an interface is only as good as what holds it up. You’ll design and build the services underneath: distributed, event-driven and calm under load, with integrations that fail safely and recover on their own. You should be as clear explaining a trade-off to a client as you are writing the code.

  • C# / .NET 8
  • ASP.NET Core
  • Azure
  • SQL Server

01 / The mandate

What you’ll own.

  • Design, build and maintain backend services in C#, .NET 8+ and ASP.NET Core for banking, healthcare and enterprise platforms.
  • Shape decoupled, event-driven architectures, and manage event flows, state and consistency across distributed services.
  • Build integrations that fail safely: webhooks with signature verification, idempotency, retries and fault-tolerant data flows.
  • Model and tune data access with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, Azure SQL and Cosmos DB, and run cloud-native services on Azure with infrastructure as code.
  • Own production quality: structured logging, health checks, automated tests, security scanning and clear API contracts in OpenAPI.

02 / The standard

What you bring.

  • 5+ years building backend services and distributed systems in C#, .NET 8+ and ASP.NET Core.
  • A strong grasp of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging and consistency across distributed services.
  • Production experience with Azure (Event Hubs or Service Bus, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Managed Identity) and with relational and document databases.
  • Testing and resilience as a habit: xUnit with Moq or NSubstitute, Polly or similar patterns, and observability through tools such as Datadog, New Relic or Dynatrace.
  • Clear API design, and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to clients, designers and engineers while keeping the user’s experience at the centre.

03 / The extra edge

Even better.

  • Banking, payments, healthcare or other regulated platforms, including security reviews and audits.
  • TypeScript and Node.js, PostgreSQL, containers, or AI services running in production.

04 / The studio
